The core of a power plant solution is the genset. Wärtsilä gensets consist of a four-stroke medium-speed engine, connected to a generator via a flywheel and coupling, mounted on a common baseframe. The genset is aligned, fine-tuned and pre-tested in the factory, fully ready for installation with minimal work at site.The following tables contain the most relevant parameters of our power plant gensets.
