Environmental Impact

The Organization enforces the sustainability concept in its daily operations. Thus, its objectives embrace the identification of environmental aspects while assessing their impact for each individual project.

In order to achieve these targets, the following variables and practices are monitored and encouraged:

• Control of the amount of waste.
• Control of the use of natural resources (water, electric power).
• Reduction of the amount of hazardous waste.
• Management and maintenance of a permanent improvement policy concerning environmental management.

Furthermore, Züblin trains its personnel on this matter by developing issues related to clean production, handling of potentially hazardous materials, among others, with the aim of operating without damaging the environment.
