For the third time, a Johnson Controls executive has received a top honor for his work in supplier diversity.

Reginald Layton, vice president of supplier diversity, has been honored as Minority Supplier Development 2013 Leader of the Year from the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC). The council advances business opportunities for minority business enterprises and connects them to 3,500 of America’s top publicly-owned, privately-owned and foreign-owned companies as well as universities, hospitals and other buying institutions.
