RAZOR TUFF 500 wear steel delivers a superior impact and abrasion resistance in even the most demanding operating conditions.

As a JADCO 500 BHN wear steel, RT500 is intended for applications requiring a combination of high abrasion resistance but yet maintain weldability. Available in 1/8” or 3/16” thicknesses, it is produced to achieve a fine-grain and clean microstructure with low levels of non-metallic inclusions.

This wear steel is produced to achieve fine-grained and clean microstructure with low levels of non-metallic inclusions. Material is subsequently austenitized, heat treated to achieve mechanical properties. It is easily weldable by conventional processes.
