Magnetism is a physical phenomenon produced by the motion of electric charge, resulting in attractive and repulsive forces between objects. Issues can arise when working with magnetized materials in a shop environment, including welding arc blow, impurities and faulty sensors. In the past there have been a handful of ways to demagnetize material. Two of the most common are heating the material up to the Curie Point or impact/striking the material. With our capabilities, the magnetic field will return the dipoles to a nearly random orientation. Applying a DC Current pierces the material at a deeper level. Magnetism will no longer be a problem. Allow JADCO to service your demagnetization needs.
