Requirements for the quality and purity of water have been increasing over recent years. The water that we drink requires reliable and consistent technology to carry out any treatment that occurs between the spring and the bottle. Processing technologies need to ensure that physiologically important and desired ingredients are retained, whilst undesirable ingredients in the water, such as dissolved gases, and especially dissolved oxygen, are removed, prior to further carbonation.
