Fouling in industrial systems are one of the most serious problems, they create a barrier to heat transfer and block the passage of water in the different teams involved. This phenomenon occurs when water-soluble salts precipitate. These deposits can be analyzed by different methodologies to identify and quantify the compounds of the precipitate. The techniques used are: titration, spectrophotometry, X-ray diffraction and grain-size analysis.

With the results obtained in the analysis is possible to define an appropriate treatment to prevent further occurrences, optimizing all the processes involved in the different production systems.

This type of test is performed in Aguasin laboratories, identifying and quantifying the elements that make up the sediments. The aim is to deliver useful results that can project different types of cleaning and possible treatments to solve the problem of scaling.
