WELDING ROD
POLYTEX extruded welding rods are manufactured with complementary additives to improve aging resistance.
Polyethylene is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic material with good mechanical properties, high electric insulation, and does not absorb humidity; it is non-polar, odorless, and chemically and physiologically inert. The antioxidant content in the weld provides protection against degradation of the polymeric chain caused by material overheating.
Linear polyethylene or high density welding rods are manufactured in nominal diameters ranging from 3.0 to 5.0 [mm], on reels of up to 8 [kg]
The rod may be used in portable extrusion machines and can be produced in different colors, upon customer’s requests.
