RHI’s health and safety policy, which focuses on prevention, protects and promotes employees’ safety and health and maintains and increases their performance.

Objective: prevention through continuous reduction of work-related stress combined with adapted coping strategies to ensure that employees stay healthy and fit for work for as long as possible.

Strategy: based on the comprehensive assessment of workstations, RHI relies on the active participation of all employees, on clear goals and the corresponding responsibilities and budgets as well as on the comprehensive controlling of the measures.

A selection of RHI’s awards: quality seal for occupational health promotion at all Austrian locations, since 2014 for the whole Group and certificate “smoke-free company" for the production plants Trieben and Veitsch (Austria).

In 2011, RHI launched the worldwide introduction of OHSAS (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series) 18001 and has been externally certified since May 2013.
