Laser welding services are currently provided by Steel Service Center in Uusikaupunki, Finland. This modern plant is equipped with three laser welding work stations with CO2 lasers. The center is capable to serve the customers in CEE and Nordic countries. Laser welding processes fulfill requirements of EN ISO 3834-2.

The key benefits of laser welding in comparison to traditional welding methods are speed, great flatness and excellent weld quality. With laser welding, it is possible to weld together different steel grades and thicknesses. However, the difference in thicknesses cannot exceed 2 mm.
