Hydrocyclones – Classifying

Cavex® Hydrocyclones rubber compounds are specially formulated by material scientists within Weir Minerals to give superior wear life in many applications.

Cavex® CVX ceramic tile lined hydrocyclones are designed to endure the arduous duties with coarse particle sizing where other materials are not suitable.

The Cavex® hydrocyclones are lightweight and complete with easy Victaulic connections ideally suited for low wear applications for fine particles/processes not favourable for rubber liners.

The Cavex® 700CVX hydrocyclone can achieve up to 50% higher throughput capacity compared to competitor cyclones in the 26" diameter range due to its larger inlet and vortex finder configuration.

The Monolithic drop in replaceable ceramic liners are specifically designed for highly abrasive ores/processes where the chemistry is not suitable for rubber liners.

These hydrocyclones provide exceptional performance in treating coarse and sharp particles. These hydrocyclones are ideally suited dense media applications where density separation is important.
