New Railwaystation Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA

The new station is the pearl in the new central zone of Amsterdam Zuidoost. This brand-new intersection for public transport for train, metro and bus has risen from the old station. The station floats about the 70-metre wide ArenA boulevard. A lightweight, airy roof of steel and glass offers the passengers good protection and a pleasant environment. The new station has been given 4 extra tracks – two for the track doubling of the Amsterdam-Utrecht line – and two that are needed for the direct connection Schiphol-Utrecht.
