David Brown has extensive experience in the design and manufacture of high performance TN54 gear systems for tracked vehicles such as the famous Challenger 2 main battle tank, CRARRV recovery vehicle as well as Trojan/Titan engineering vehicles.

• Custom designed fully automatic transmission for tracked wheeled vehicles
• Proven designs currently in service with the British Army and the Royal Army of Oman
• Six forward and two reverse gears at a rating of 1200bhp with the option to increase the power to 1500bhp if required
• Drive transmitted from the engine through a splined coupling close coupled to the engine

• Single input and two in-line outputs at right angles to the input
• The gear and direction of travel are engaged by a sequenced application of multi-plate clutches, actuated hydraulically and controlled by electro-solenoid valves
