Storage Tanks

Agitators can be installed in the vessel not only from the top or the bottom, but also from the side. This is particularly useful in large vessels.

Advantages of side entry storage tanks:

• Low investment costs
• Optimum mixing results can be obtained (depending on the number of agitators and vessel size)
• Good suspending properties even without the use of additional swiveling devices
• Good homogenizing behavior without dead zones already possible with low power inputs mixing

Typical applications for EKATO side-entry agitators:

• Bioethanol plant
• Oil storage tanks
