Floating Terminals

Gearbulk first entered the floating terminal business in 1977 in Jeddah after converting a tanker into a cement storage facility with capacity for both bulk and bagged cement, the first of nine such facilities that handled more than 45 million tonnes of cement.

Gearbulk has been operating floating terminals for fertiliser, grains and ores.
