SOx Reduction

Super DESOX® and Super DESOX® OCI additives are designed to catalytically reduce SOx emissions from an FCCU regenerator flue gas stack. Grace SOx reduction additives support environmental compliance, balance refinery-wide SOx emissions, provide flexibility to process high sulfur feeds, avoid issues associated with wet gas scrubbers and relieve pressure on FCCU feed hydrotreaters.

These additives can also be used to control SOx emissions to levels below 25 ppmv SOx, at dosing rates of 5 – 10 wt% of fresh catalyst additions. Super DESOX® OCI mitigates costs associated with rare earth compounds.
