Conservation Leadership Corps

Creating the next generation of environmental stewards

The Conservation Leadership Corps (CLC) is a signature Johnson Controls global philanthropy program that focuses the company’s values of environmental stewardship, leadership development and diversity to develop local youth and make a positive impact on local communities where we do business.

The CLC engages thousands of youth worldwide in summer employment and volunteer projects that provide hands-on conservation experience and training to help students build their leadership skills, develop a strong work ethic and gain a personal sense of stewardship for the environment.

The program takes place in where Johnson Controls has significant operations. The is active in Milwaukee, Wis., and Detroit, Mich., where we have our U.S. headquarters locations, and in global locations such as and . The program now involves more than 1,700 students each year.
