JRI’s experience in tailings design and handling is comprehensive. At a national level, JRI has highlighted in the design of large tailings dams for relevant mining companies, while, through its participation in its affiliate ORSA, JRI has been a pioneer in the operation and external specialized management of tailings dams. The extensive know-how gained in this area, is constantly reinforced by the continuous involvement of JRI professionals in major international seminars related to this subject, such as Paste and FLUIMIN.
