Major Partners with Actua

Major Drilling is partnering with Actua, a Canadian charity that provides hands-on, interactive education enrichment experiences in science, engineering, technology and mathematics (STEM) to Canadian youth aged 6-16 years.
Case Study Content
They work towards ensuring that all youth have the opportunity to feel empowered by science, no matter their geographic location, socio-economic situation, ability or gender. Actua supports a network of 33 members at universities and colleges across Canada and has its own Outreach Team that annually delivers the hands-on programming to 225,000 youth in over 450 communities.
2013 marks Actua’s 20th anniversary in the delivery of hands-on, interactive STEM programming designed specifically to help youth achieve their potential and participate in an in-demand future skilled workforce and knowledge economy.
