A McElroy Inspector Can Say

InspectorA McElroy inspector reads and understands blueprints and other part specifications and uses various tools to determine if machined parts and other components meet defined quality standards. The inspector reviews the quality and accuracy of parts by using micrometers, calipers, and height gauges. The inspector also keeps records of parts that do not conform to quality standards and helps to resolve problems surrounding continuous improvement and quality. Communication with engineers and machinists along with many other departments is vital to upholding the high quality standards at McElroy.EnvironmentMcElroy currently has two inspection areas one at our Admiral Facility where components are produced and one at our Fulton Facility where the final product is assembled and shipped to the customer. Inspectors may travel between the campuses throughout the day or stay at just one of the locations. A variety of shifts are available to work.
