The International Molybdenum Association (IMOA) was founded in 1989. This entity groups the most important agents of the molybdenum industry in the world, including producers, consumers and traders, providing information and statistical data of this industry, to the market.

This association accounts for 85% of the world production of the East, and all molybdenum conversion plants;

the great mines in China are also members, along with Chinese conversion plants. Its mission is providing, defending and researching the outstanding properties of this metal.
