Sharing information and promoting actions that enable the community to become familiar with and understand the importance of recycling plastics has been a very important activity for PETROQUIM in recent years. The company has been involved in different activities such as taking part in fairs and seminars, publications in magazines, and contributing through various communications media.

Also, through its new subsidiary GREENPLAST, PETROQUIM has become involved in recycling plastic waste which, through various processes, it turns into soft drink boxes, containers, and other articles, and into plastic pellets that can be used to manufacture new components and final products.
