Prieto y Cía. advised SMUS.A., owner of the supermarket chain “Unimarc” among others, on the sale of their 40% equity interest in Supermercados Montserrat. The price of the transaction was around USD$45 million. This operation is part of the orders by the Chilean Competition Tribunal as a condition for merger with Supermercados del Sur (SdS).(2014)
