Recognizing and celebrating the significant achievements and contributions from our workforce is a strategy used to enhance employee engagement at Teck. Two company-wide programs to highlight in this regard are the Excellence Awards and the Going for Gold Challenge. The Going for Gold Challenge was introduced in 2007 and encouraged employees to get involved in their community and at work – getting active, being safe, acting sustainably and giving back.
