Intermediate to Senior Geotechnical Engineer

BGC is seeking an experienced senior geotechnical or geological engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and 7 – 10 years relevant work experience since graduation. The suitable candidate should have the ability to work in multi-disciplined project teams on projects working in remote, challenging environments, and a desire to occasionally travel and work in remote conditions.

Candidates shall possess an undergraduate degree in civil, geological, or mining engineering. A post-graduate degree in geotechnical engineering is desirable. Strong understanding in geotechnical engineering and engineering geology as well as proven communication skills (English) are essential. Project management skills and a willingness to supervise and mentor junior staff are also desirable.
