Butterfly Valve

Butterfly valves can either be used for sectioning or regulating the fluid flow.

SAFI Butterfly valves are available with different body materials (PVDF, PPH, UPVC) and different disks (flap) materials (PVDF, PPH, UPVC, CPVC), they are equipped with elastomer EPDM, PTFE or FKM seal. Mounting between flanges, the body is drilled with regular holes, this ensures a perfect centering of the butterfly valve on the piping system.

For an optimized handling butterfly valves under DN 150 are equipped with a multi-position lever handle, from DN 150 a hand wheel and reduction gearbox.Regulation with a butterfly valve is possible with locking plate for manual ones or hand wheel with reduction gearbox for actuated ones.The main advantage of the butterfly valve is its low profile dimension, particularly for sizes over DN 80.
