Industrial plastic valves offer mechanical strength, long term stability, UV resistance for outdoor use, chemical resistance to strong acids and oxidizing solutions, light weight, resistance to fluids charged with particlesSome thermoplastic combined with further characteristics are chosen for extreme conditions. For example the 20% of carbon fibres added in the standard PP (PolyPropylene) allows the conduction of electricity. This optional material is used in explosion hazard areas where anti-static devices are compulsory.
