At the core of Teck’s Olympic and Paralympic Programs are our employees. The Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralymic Winter Games were an amazing catalyst to engage and inspire our employees to continually strive for excellence in all that they do.

Teck Excellence Awards

The Excellence Awards were developed to recognize and celebrate employees who embody the values of Teck, and to identify those employees who have made a significant contribution to the company and our communities in three categories: Productivity and Innovation, Safety in the Workplace, Environment and Sustainability. Unsung Heroes were also recognized. Our Excellence Award recipients are rewarded with a trip for two to a special international event, such as the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics, the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics or the 2010 Shanghai World Expo.
